The video demonstrates one of our exercises to camouflage the typical repetition of room windows on hotel facades. The study is conducted on one of ILA’s ongoing projects in Central Jakarta. The tools utilised were Grasshopper and Lunchbox.

This video was one of our contents played in a loop on a projector during the exhibition. It demonstrates the definition we built in Grasshopper to automate a scissor structure on any given curves. Image sampling is a process that scans values of each pixel in a raster image and translates that value to any amount of 3 dimensional parameter. In this case the brightness value of each pixel is translated into each tube’s radius and height in the array. Click here to go to HKSZ BYOP main page
